Discovering God’s quiet gifts in the ordinary moments of life’s journey.

Today someone asked me a simple question.

“Who do you work for?”

Instead of answering, I smiled and asked,

“Who do you think I work for?”

He looked at me and guessed one of the contractors on site.

“Nope,” I said.

That made me realize something.

One of the things I enjoy most about my job is that people sometimes can’t tell who I work for.

And I like that.

Not because I’m trying to hide it.

But because my goal isn’t to represent just one company.

My goal is to help everyone succeed.

Today I was talking with Joshua from IEM.

I told him,

“I want to make your life easier. If you look good, I look good.”

That’s how I see my role.

If HITT succeeds…

If IEM succeeds…

If Power Solutions succeeds…

If BVPI succeeds…

Then the entire project succeeds.

I may wear one company’s badge.

But every day I try to work in a way that earns the trust of all of them.

That doesn’t mean I belong to every company.

It means I want every company to know I’m here to help solve problems—not create them.

I’ve learned that some of the best work happens when people stop asking,

“Whose responsibility is this?”

and start asking,

“How can we get this done together?”

Maybe that’s another one of God’s quiet gifts.

Not just building electrical systems.

Building trust.

Sometimes the best compliment isn’t hearing someone say,

“You’re good at your job.”

Sometimes it’s hearing,

“I thought you worked for us.”

To me, that’s one of the greatest compliments I can receive. It tells me that people don’t just see the logo on my shirt—they see someone who’s invested in helping the entire team succeed.

That’s the kind of work I want to be known for.
